Mascot Schoolsmart
Our story

Worn against the skin,
every single day

Mascot has supplied schools and workplaces for three generations. The belief behind it has not moved: what is worn for ten hours a day should be made of what nature makes.

School uniform — worn in

A uniform is worn against the skin for eight to ten hours a day, more than two hundred days a year. It should be made of what nature makes — rich in natural fibre — not a synthetic imitation of it.

That is why Mascot is green.

02 · Vision

Where we are going

To be the first name that comes to mind when anyone thinks of natural uniforms — making authentic cotton, not synthetic substitutes, the standard for what people wear to school and to work.

01

First to mind

When a school or a workplace says “natural uniform”, they should mean Mascot.

02

Authentic, not adjacent

Real cotton — not a blend described as one, not a substitute dressed up as the real thing.

03

The standard, not the upgrade

Natural fibre as the ordinary expectation for school and workwear, not a premium tier.

03 · Mission

What we do

To dress schools and workplaces in genuine, breathable, natural-fibre uniforms — sourcing authentic cotton, holding it to an honest standard, and proving every day that comfort against the skin and durability on the shoulder are not opposites.

We do this by

01
Choosing fibre first
Authentic Cotton Rich fabric, selected for breathability, softness and skin-safety before anything else.
02
Being honest about composition
You know exactly what you are wearing; no synthetic passed off as natural.
03
Building for Indian conditions
Heat, humidity, long days and hard washing.
04
Making natural affordable
Rich in natural fibre, at prices families and organisations can repeat, season after season.
05
Delivering on time, every season
Planned stock and production, so peak demand never becomes a crisis.
06
Returning fabric to the earth
Natural fibre is biodegradable, and our collection and donation programme keeps it in use for as long as it can serve.

04 · Values

What we hold to

Six commitments, and what each one means in practice at Mascot.

ValueWhat it means at Mascot
Natural by ConvictionCotton is not our premium option, it is our default. We chose the harder, costlier fibre because it is the right one against skin.
Honest FabricWe say what a garment is made of and it is true. Composition, shade and weight are never quietly downgraded.
Comfort Is Not a LuxuryA child who is itching cannot concentrate. An employee who is sweating cannot focus. Breathability is a performance requirement, not a nice-to-have.
Made to Last, Made to ReturnNatural fibre wears well and returns to the earth. We build garments for long life, then take them back for credit and donation.
Trust, Worn DailyFamilies and institutions return to us season after season. That habit is the only proof of quality that matters.
Fair to All SidesHonest pricing for the buyer, honest terms for the supplier, honest labour behind the stitch.
